Fire Rated Glass Partitions

Our fire rated partitions are an essential part of the todays working environments to meet the stringent building regulation legislation.

fire rated commercial image No longer do you need to compromise where fire rating is required as our fire rated solid glass partition systems look at good at the non fire rated versions.  Various designs, styles and door sets are available to suit your design criteria and budget needs. 

Fire rating on office partitions, screens or dividing walls is measured in amount of protections that they offer either in Integrity or Insulation or both and range from 30 minutes protection up to 2 hours (120 minutes).

Integrity Fire protection relates to the amount of time the system has been proven and is required to maintain its integrity when it is faced with fire.  Insulation Fire protection is the added measure where the partition also needs to insulate occupants of the building from the fire on the other side of the partition wall or glass screen. 

apss offer the following levels of fire rating on commercial partitions:

30:00 – 30:30 – 60:00 – 60:30 – 60:60 – 90:00 – 90:30 – 90:60 – 90:90 – 120:00 – 120:30 – 120:60 – 120:90 – 120:120

The first number above being Fire rating integrity and the second number fire rating insulation (Integrity:Insulation).
